This set of practice pages helps students to read and write basic words while adding the suffix s.  This pack includes practice with building basewords and adding the suffix –s.  Students also get a chance to read and illustrate sentences and write their own sentences using words from the unit.

Opinion Writing Posters – Grade 1

This pack is along the same lines as my Kindergarten pack, but it is focused on first grade needs.  Students learn to write a hook, state an opinion, share detailed reasons, and restate their opinions in their closing.  Students write book and movie reviews in this unit.  All posters from the unit are included.

-nk and –ng Glued Sounds Practice Pack – Unit 7 Grade 1 FUNdations Aligned

This practice pack is VERY similar to the suffix –s pack except it focuses on different skills.  Students learn to read and write word with the glued sounds  –ank, -ink, -onk, -unk, -ang, -ing, -ong, and –ung.  This pack includes practice with building basewords and adding the suffix –s.  Students also get a chance to read and illustrate sentences and write their own sentences using words from the unit.
